DEDICATION

The inspiration for this book is derived from the union of my son Dr. Kenneth Fields, a professor at the University of Peking in Beijing and his beautiful, talented Chinese wife YuHongMei, who performs with her group in China and globally as erhu soloist of the Chinese National Orchestra. She is associate professor at the Conservatory of Music in Beijing. They presented me with my first grand-daughter on November 24, 2006 and the planet must be saved for her sake.
Also, to my daughter Dr. Barbara Fields for her dedication to peace for the past decade as Executive Director of the Association for Global New Thought, innovator of the Season for Nonviolence and the Abraham Pilgrimage, and to AGNT Leadership Council and members for their roles as peacemakers.
To my grandsons, Andrew and Gregory Reck, who are growing up in the 'expat' community of Americans, experiencing excellent educations at international schools in Thailand, Egypt and Argentina. They kindled the flame of enlightenment through the global friendships they have formed and cherish.
To my nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, great- great nieces and great-great nephews, I offer a plan that will make it possible for them to live forevermore in a world of nonviolence and peace. Some are currently attending universities in the mid-west, others recently received degrees; some are in high school, others have a few years more of grade school.
They are seventy-eight members, soon to be eighty, of second, third and fourth generations descended from Sylvia and Ruben Stoller of Chicago, their four sons, and four daughters, Siegels, Samuelsohns, Newmans and Fields.
They are all intelligent, beautiful and handsome, warm and loving individuals, born and raised with love, respect and dignity. They deserve to survive the madness that governments have exhibited throughout the ages, now more dangerous and threatening than ever before. Only an immediate new way of life will save all global inhabitants.
And, thank you to my friends who listened with patience, and with or without agreement of my views, provided the motivation to complete this book. They are my best friends, the first for 75 years, Elaine Simcovits Pastko; for sixty-two years, Shirley Penefsky Root; Phyllis Birnbaum Kipnis, for fifty years Bernice Friese Frankel; for thirty years Judy Chesson, and my treasure, Debra Reck .
Special thanks to the staffs of the Illinois College of Lake County Library, Grayslake, and the Fox Lake Library for their research assistance.
